This is my first time doing a challenge for the GPP Street Team Blog. Now that I'm finally getting caught up with my swaps and starting to do art that is more who I am, I'm finding the work goes quicker. That means I can finally jump into blog challenges. Yay!!!!
Anyway, here's what I came up with for this challenge:
Left Side
Right Side
Journal Spread

Hello Raeven, nice to meet you. Thanks for coming over to play with us. I love that you reflected on what being an artist does for you....and made this terrific spread. Don't you love when your obligations are wrapped up and you can work more freely? I think deadlines can also be lifelines....but love when the calendar is less crowded :) Thanks for sharing your work with the team!
ReplyDeleteWhat great pages! Love the colors and that they are full of fun details and that you play to bring out your inner child. We all need more of that!
ReplyDeleteIt's great to articulate what creating means to us! Thanks for sharing! Hope to do some journal pages for this crusade too! Patsy from

LOVE these colors, and the gorgeous images in your page! Great inspiration. Thank you for joining the team!
ReplyDeleteHi Raeven, thanks for sharing your colorful work and your thoughts. I agree... the freedom that art brings does feel like play. I'm glad you're finding (or making) that time now!
ReplyDeleteHi Raeven, nice to meet yo via the Crusades. I love what you have done. There's a wee voice in my head saying your colours etc remind me of something, but I can't quite place it yet. Something I have seen for Mexican Day of the Dead maybe? Anyway, love it. Thanks for joining in.
ReplyDeleteHi Raeven, thanks for sharing with the Street Team! I like your style - a bit goth, a bit whimsical.
ReplyDeleteКак ярко!)
ReplyDeletelove these everything!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Raeven, your pages are great, very Fall-ish and the white lines are a nice way of dividing the page.
ReplyDeleteWOW Raeven, welcome to the Street Team! What an amazing job you did on your first Crusade...
ReplyDeleteI loved when I sat back and looked at the spread as a whole, a black line comes up by the end of the word "believe" so the predominant message I saw was "Free Art Believer!"
Awesomely cool, and I wondered if it was on purpose or not!! Best wishes, tj
I really appreciate how intense and personal your work is. You clearly respond to the colours and imagery and in turn so do your viewers.
